Team Practice and Conditioning

Along with scheduled practices we have conditioning Monday-Thursday evenings at the Quakes Baseball Academy Facility in Laguna Niguel. Conditioning is from May until mid-August. Our conditioning program consists of Yoga, Pilates, core conditioning, Vertimax speed training and Plyometrics.

In the summer we practice at Corona del Mar High School taking ground balls and running. In the fall our outdoor practice is held at Chapparosa Park in Laguna Niguel. We believe running should be done as many days as possible. With the program they will specifically train in running 2-3 days per week. This training is done with “bullet belts” and harnesses in order to help their explosive first step so they can become better and faster athletes.

Hitting practice is done at the Quakes facility in Laguna Niguel. The players are encouraged to attend the open hitting sessions as time permits, before or after conditioning. This will give them the repetition they need improve on their swing mechanics.

Player Testimonials
Top Prospects Camps
The Top prospect camps have been the best Camps my son has attended. The caliber of coaches there is second to none. The exposure that Blake received from attending the camps was great, and is now receiving letters from a number of coaches that were at the camps. The camps have helped in developing the relationships with those coaches. I truly believe this has helped him get on the radar with Top colleges.

Sincerely,

Frank Leyva

Coaches/Scouts Testimonials
You won't find a baseball camp that instructs the way Professional Baseball is played, like Top Prospects. There aren't many Instruction Schools, if any, that will work for your son to attain a college opportunity, like Top Prospects. Over the years I have been able to see firsthand young (12 to 13) players mature into college prospects and some with a chance to start their Professional careers.
